What is Alívio?

Alívio is an lotion made up of natural and essential oils. The ingredients in Alívio work harmoniously to relief minor aches and pains in the muscles and joints. Alívio is designed to absorb fast, is safe to use and is paraben free.

Here are some of the wonderful ingredients in Alívio and what there are for:

• Aloe Vera Gel - For centuries Aloe Vera has been known as a soothing agent when applied to burns, scrapes and wounds. Because the gel of the aloe vera plant is known to absorb quickly into the skin, it also works well on sprains and strains.
• Emu Oil - The oil of emu possesses high levels of linolenic acid. It is also well known for soothing stiff muscles and joints cause by sports and other physical activities.
• Methyl Salicylate and Menthol Crystols - These products are used to assist minor aches and pains of the muscles/joints. Methyl Salicylate and Menthol Crystols are known as counterirritants. They work by causing the skin to feel cool and then warm. These feelings on the skin distract you from feeling the aches/pains deeper in your muscles, joints, and tendons.
• Oleoresin Capsucum - Oleoresin Capsicum contains capsaicin. Capsaicin, for reasons still not completely understood, interferes with the action of “Substance P”, a nerve chemical that sends pain messages to the brain.
• Eucalyptus Oil -Eucalyptus trees are the predominant genus of trees in Australia. The scent of a eucalyptus forest after a much needed rain is clean and fresh and even gives a therapeutic aroma.

Aloe Vera Gel, SLS Nebbles, Carbopol, Propylene Glycol, Emu Oil, Methyl Salicylate, Menthol Crystols, Oleoresin Capsucum, Eucalyptus Oil, TEA, DI Water, Optiphen Plus (paraben free preservative)

Suggested Use:Adults and children 2 years of age and older, apply affected area not more than 3 to 4 times daily. Children uner 2 years of age, consult a physician.

For external use only. Do not use on sores or wounds. Discontinue use of irritation develops. Avoid contact with eyes.
